Out Patient Mental Health and Treatment Services

Our Outpatient Mental Health and Addiction Treatment program provides a variety of treatments for adolescents and adults with substance abuse disorder (i.e., alcohol and/or other substances), including:

  • Assessment services
  • Outpatient structured programs
  • Education about substance misuse and outpatient treatment

Several insurance companies and managed care plans accept our services for reimbursement.

Out Patient Mental Health and Evaluation Services

Our staff is committed to making the evaluation process pleasant and informative for all participants. They collect a thorough biopsychosocial history, which is the basis for developing a personalized therapy strategy.

The evaluation data provides the basis for diagnosis and, if suitable, admission to the outpatient program. It typically takes one to two hours and includes gathering information from the client’s family and significant other.

Out Patient Mental Health and Treatment Levels

The Rehabilitation Programs of Applied Care Service emphasize abstinence as the foundation of rehabilitation. Therefore, clients will be administered random breathalyzer tests.

To facilitate recovery and ensure an alcohol- and drug-free treatment environment, they will be expected to submit random urine samples.

In addition, the treatment strategy includes an introduction to self-help meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Smart Recovery.

Structured Out Patient: Phase 1

Outpatient meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon and lasts 21 sessions (approximately seven weeks).

Structured Out Patient: Phase 2

Before the initial part of therapy, each client is instructed to create an aftercare plan as a therapeutic task. The clients are subsequently enrolled in a Continuing Care Group to increase their likelihood of enduring recovery.

The Continuing Care Group meets twice per week for an hour and a half to discuss the transition from intensive treatment to community-based recovery and the development of a sound recovery program.
